First Aid Courses
Our agency teaches Basic First Aid classes to guidelines
of the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI).
This course provides a three year certification card. ASHI is a nationally
approved association in the State of Florida and
their courses meet the guidelines for OSHA, DCF
and US DOT.
Note: Our agency can also teach American Heart
Association's First Aid course that carries a two
year certification card.
The skills taught in all First Aid classes are:
Care for victims of bleeding, shock, burns, strains,
sprains, fractures, seizures, severe allergic
reactions, heat stroke, poisoning, head, neck
and spinal injury, diabetic emergency, bites and
stings, severe heat and cold exposure, and specific
body injuries.

FIRST AID COURSE
Course can be tailored to include pediatric
first aid information as well as adult.
Length: 2 1/2 to 3 hours

Citizen CPR can add Bloodborne Pathogens
Course to either our CPR or First Aid
Course for an additional hour of training.
This course also includes student textbook
and a two year certification card. Course
can also be taught by itself.
Minimum of six persons for class.
